I have tried editing the resolution in the text file and Ultrawide mods.Well, I discovered the cause after half an hour of troubleshooting. Apparently the variable fDefaultFoV= controls the distance of the power armor UI display. I had it mirroring my main FoVs (1st/3rd person), which was 100. Removing it from my Fallout4.ini caused the HUD to scale properly with this fix. ….

To change your resolution, select Options in the Fallout 4 launcher menu, before selecting Play.Go give their mod an upvote or like or whatever they are called. Obviously, this requires TRUBY9 ULTRAWIDE - FALLOUT 4 . Compatibility patch to fix small issues when using the Truby9 ultrawide mod on 32:9 aspect ratio displays.
